Volunteer Opportunity: FRIDAY Safety Team for Foodbank

We need volunteers to help protect and support our vulnerable friends and neighbors, particularly at food distribution locations where safety is a growing concern.

The location is just north of Gresham.

Our goal is to serve as extra eyes and ears in the community, monitoring for Migra/ICE activity and promptly notifying organizers of any reported or observed presence.

Volunteers will be stationed at designated access points and equipped with two-way radios and whistles to communicate potential threats and alert organizers and attendees when necessary.

Our role is to observe, report, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Be sure to dress for the weather.
