Resources & Calls to Action
There is an overwhelming amount of news and information being thrown at us on a daily basis. We simplify it here for you with what the urgent Calls to Action are, we give you links to the resources to achieve them, and provide current news that can't be missed.
RESOURCES TO KEEP YOUR COMMUNITY SAFE
If you are in Oregon and spot ICE activity, use a whistle or honk your horn to warn people around of a sighting, and then immediately alert the Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition (PIRC) hotline and they have rapid response teams all over the State who will try to get to that location. If you are at the scene where someone is being taken, stay calm and try to get as much info as you can from the person being detained (name, dob, spouse name)--check to see if they need you to contact an Eco lawyer for them. Film everything!
Numbers to have in your phone at all times!
Asegúrate de tener estos 2 números de teléfono guardados en tu teléfono:
-
PIRC hotline / línea directa: 1-888-622-1510 (reporting ICE sightings/activity)
-
ECO lawyers / abogados: 1-888-274-7292 (if someone is being detained & needs a lawyer)

Let us know if you would like to have our incredible presentor and training platform come to your town. For those of you who can't make it in-person, you can request access to our slideshow presentation here and below we have links for pdfs of the whistle zines, resources for 3D printing whistles, and more.
MIGRA WHISTLE PACKS:
We want to thank the creators of the zines Pilsen Arts Community House in Chicago for designing the zines and making them accessible to anyone. We also want to thank PIRC & Migra Whistle Coalition in Portland, Oregon for spreading the word about the whistles, zines and how to put it all together. Things are constantly evolving/updating, currently we are using the WashCoForAll Bilingual Zine.

We are doing this to send one message loud and clear: our community stands together. We’re organized. We’re peaceful. We’re not going anywhere. We’re here for immigrant justice. We’re here for our neighbors. We’re here as witnesses.
Thank you for being here. Stay peaceful. Stay together. Watch out for each other. Sing. Dance. Be loud. Be visible. And let ICE and every elected official watching know: this community is united, and we are not afraid.
