The Board plans to formally adopt the amended budget during this meeting—and determine how these funds are to be allocated at subsequent meeting/s. We must continue showing up to hold the Board accountable for investing in teachers, student-facing staff, classrooms, and students. We are encouraging the public to reserve verbal patron input during this meeting in a collaborative effort to save time and get the budget adopted quickly. Because people showed up in May, the Oregon City School District Budget Committee approved motions to move $1 million from the Loder Rd. reserve funds and $415,000 in acknowledged budgeting errors back into the General Fund.
